wrong gas to a patient. Before using an adapter, verify the source to

ensure it is the appropriate gas for the application. Never use

adapters to change the connectors or ﬁttings on cryogenic vessels.

• To reduce the risk of ﬁre, ensure that substances such as dirt, oil,

grease or hand creams do not contaminate connections between

medical devices and medical gas cylinders.
